As most of the cultural space KATHARSISs manifestations, THE VIDEO GALLERY KATHARSIS, in danish "VIDEOGALLERIET KATHARSIS", is confirming the non-conformist actions of the artists behind it: they manage to create yet one other surviving "pure art" space: a gallery for artistic movies and video.

Far from the industry and commercialism, the new gallery is the only one of this type in Copenhagen, and as I write this, probably the only one in Denmark.

The gallery's policy is atracting good, talented art film makers and putting them in contact with a broader public than the usual art-movie fans.
